John Fleming doesn’t know or care about the problems of everyday Louisianans – he’s too busy looking out for himself.

Back in 2011, as Louisianans struggled to recover from hurricanes, floods, oil spills, and an economic recession on a median household income of $44,000 annually, Fleming was bringing in $600,000 a year – and complaining about it.

Today, Fleming’s household net worth is up to $65 million. He’s pulling down as much as $7.25 million every year – that’s more than 120 times what the median Louisiana family makes in a year.

John Fleming is selling out Louisiana to America’s Communist enemies.

For years, Fleming owned and operated a shadowy company called “Chinese Concepts” but never discusses it publicly. He owes Louisianans the truth: Was he promoting Chinese interests in our state?

The Chinese company that Fleming put your tax dollars into even helped the CCP develop a Communist propaganda app and a surveillance system that allows China’s government to identify Uighurs and other enemies of the state.

How can Louisianans trust John Fleming to stand up to China in Washington if he won’t stand up to China in Baton Rouge?

Now, with Fleming on the board as state treasurer, Louisiana’s public employee pension fund invests taxpayer dollars in a Chinese tech conglomerate and private equity firms with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

John Fleming claims, “Louisiana families deserve a leader who puts THEM first - not the D.C. swamp.” And he’s right – Louisiana families deserve better than a Swamp Creature like him.

Back in 2016, Fleming joined the rest of the D.C. elite in undermining Donald Trump. He told other Republicans “to be careful” of Trump, calling his language “reprehensible” and “unacceptable.” Even after President Trump’s first term, Fleming criticized him for supposedly making “statements that weren’t helpful.” Then, he touted his own connections to Ron DeSantis while DeSantis was running against Trump for President.

Now, Fleming is falsely claiming that President Trump made him his Deputy Chief of Staff. The reality? Fleming was never even a White House employee – just another bureaucrat on loan from the Commerce Department.

And, just like any typical career politician, Fleming cashed in on his “public service” and spent years as a lobbyist. The Washington D.C. firm he worked for represents special interests ranging from Albanian socialists to Saudi royals fighting the families of 9/11 victims. Amazingly, Fleming still works for that lobbying firm even while serving as Louisiana State Treasurer.

John Fleming wants Louisianans to send him back to D.C. so he can keep selling them out to the Swamp.
